1972 HURST/OLDS INDY 500 PACE CAR. IN 1972 HURST PERFORMANCE ENTERED THE INDY PACE CAR PROGRAM FOR THE FIRST TIME. H/O CARS WERE OUTFITTED WITH THE 455 ENGINE, A W-25 RAM AIR HOOD AND A HURST DUAL GATE SHIFTER. REFLECTIVE DECAL PACKAGE REALLY LIT UP THE NIGHT. FACTS: 1972 WAS THE LOWEST PRODUCTION RUN FOR ALL H/O CARS WITH ONLY 649 TOTAL PRODUCED. 499 WERE HARDTOPS, ONLY 160 WITH FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING. THIS UNIT HAS THE RALLY PAC GAUGES, 3;42 POSI REAR AXLE, AND VERY RARE OUTSIDE THERMOMETER. THIS CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND IS LOCALLY OWNED IN BRANDON, MS. INCLUDED ARE THE PARADE FLAG HOLDERS ON REAR BUMPER AND THE YELLOW AND CHECKERBOARD FLAGS.
